HANCOR Adds Flowtech® Septic Systems and New Line Flowtech Drainage Systems
Move Increases Availability of On-Site Product and
Expands Hancor Product Offering
FINDLAY, Ohio – October 5, 2009: Hancor, Inc. today announced it has reached an agreement to exclusively market and distribute the Flowtech septic system, a subsurface septic drain field system, which replaces the need for a barrier cover such as gravel. It is being added to Hancor’s line of widely used on-site products that include the Arc™ Chamber Series, SB-2®, Multi-Pipe, GEO-flow®, ADS-3000 Triple Wall®, Smoothwall and corrugated pipe. Flowtech is a division of ICC Technologies, LLC.
A high-capacity, high-flow product, the Flowtech septic system is designed to replace over 1,200 pounds of gravel that would otherwise be required, and prevents sand or fine soils from entering a drain field system. The Flowtech septic system meets the H10 load, soil load and hydraulic conductivity tests.
The Flowtech septic system bundle consists of a 4-inch diameter corrugated high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe surrounded by an engineered geo-synthetic aggregate that is held in place by a polystyrene net and geotextile combination. Sections are easily joined using an internal coupler.
Extremely light, the system can be easily carried and installed by one person in a septic system for commercial and residential building sites.
"Hancor has built an extensive offering of on-site products. With the addition of Flowtech, Hancor is bringing another fine product to our customers," stated Jim Clemans, Director of Allied Products for Hancor. "This is an excellent septic system that is practical to manage and put in place, while providing maximum protection and efficiencies. Now, it can be found throughout North America at any Hancor site."
Hancor is one of the world’s largest producers of corrugated high-density polyethylene pipe. It has a global network of 42 domestic and international manufacturing plants and 30 regional distribution centers plus engineering support and customer service groups.
